Hi.

I'm just another mom, trying my best not to be basic.

Spring Wardrobe Refresh

Spring Wardrobe Refresh

Before baby, my style was a very easy equation. Dress + Heels + Fun Accessories = Go Anywhere. Sadly, these are not practical options for a pregnant gal/ stay at home mom.

I need easy to wear clothes that hide the scary bits (belly), allow for easy access to the necessary bits (boobs), are easy on the wallet, simple to mix and match and don't scream frumpy mom. Bonus points if it could be purchased online or at the grocery store. Bonus bonus point if it isn't Lululemon (nothing against athlesiure wear, I just don't feel my best self in black tights all day everyday).

These are my spring wardrobe updates that hit all those boxes. Happy Shopping!

1. I bought last year's version of this shoe and it was AMAZING while pregnant as a sturdy heel. I've worn them to death and can't wait to get this in my closet.

2. Jumpsuits are easy, cool and so practical for bending/crouching/crawling/laying/ jumping/any other movement you do as a mom of a mobile baby. This one has a cute drawstring waist to keep things un-frump and a low enough bustline to satisfy baby (and hubby? Is that weird?)

3. DON'T SHOOT ME! WHITE JEANS ARE/CAN BE PRACTICAL. These ones from Old Navy are amazing because they have some kind of wizardy woven into them to repel baby stains. And if that fails you can bleach the $hit out of them and they will survive. Buy them. Right now. You won't be sorry.

4. This off the shoulder top is loose and casual enough to wear on the coffee/park/grocery store circuit but also a little sexy enough to wear on a date with your man.

5. I bought this jacket on a sad, rainy day grocery shopping while wearing my husband's hooded Top Man version (sorry babe). I changed in Fortinos and never looked back.

6. Apparently I have a thing for tassels. Perhaps its because I spend so much time thinking about the well-being of my nipples? I wonder what Freud would say?

7. Breezy linen? Button front? Oversized boyfriend fit? Sign me up! This comes in many colours and looks super cute knotted at the front too! I'm also imagining it as a bathing suit cover up this summer at the cottage!

8. These fun earrings add a bit of pop to any of the neutral colours in a mom wardrobe. I love these with anything Navy and White Striped.

How are you freshening up your wardrobe for spring?
